About Our Trainers

Hi, I’m Meredith!

Meredith Sibley is the CEO & Founder of Flux Dance Training. With 20 years of experience as a dance teacher and trainer, she helps dancers take their dance technique to the next level through a strength-based approach.

Leading with a dancer first mentality, her driving force is to ignite the same passion in young dancers that she feels for dance and movement. She wants dancers to train with intention and to receive the tools needed for success.

With a B.A. in dance performance and education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and over 20 years of experience, she’s worn many hats as a dance educator in the public schools, dance company director, and private studio instructor. She has also performed with local dance companies in the DC, Baltimore and Maryland region.

When she is not dancing or teaching dance, you can find her enjoying a cup of coffee, hiking outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Our Approach

When we work with dancers, we lead our sessions with one thought in mind: To improve our dance technique we must become stronger by training the proper muscles. The physical effects that dancing requires of the body demands that dancers train like Athletes.

Dancers must have the tools and knowledge to support their dance technique through strength and conditioning. We train dancers with this approach to also help with injury prevention, and provide longevity in their dance careers.

Achieve your Goals

When we sit down with new clients, we discuss dance goals and what it is they hope to accomplish by working together. Each 1:1 session, group class, workout, or training plan, is carefully crafted toward dancer success and goal achievement.

Build Confidence

Our favorite side effect of working strategically alongside dancers is watching their confidence grow. We aspire to lead dancers toward finding joy and celebrating their successes each time we meet.
